Holmes Corporation is proud to announce that we’ve been named a 2023 Star Tribune Top 200 Workplace.

On November 5, 2021, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo presented Holmes Corporation with its second President’s “E Star” Award for Exports at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. HC is only the second organization in the 60-year history of the “E” Awards program to have received this honor twice.

Secretary Raimondo congratulated the 31 “E” Award winners stating, “These organizations embody the innovation, dynamism, and resilience characteristic of America’s business community, and they should all be proud of their contributions to our commercial engagement with the global community.”

We share this award with our association and education partners around the world. It is through our partnership with these organizations that we provide professionals with access to premium quality training and recognition, no matter where they live, and continue to achieve export growth.

Holmes Corporation has been named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune for the third time in four years. Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction.

On May 22, 2017, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross presented Holmes Corporation with the President’s “E Star” Award for Exports at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. The President’s “E Star” Award is the highest recognition any U.S. entity can receive for making a significant contribution to the expansion of U.S. exports. Holmes Corporation is one of only three organizations nationwide to have received the “E Star” Award in 2017, which recognizes the company’s sustained export growth since receiving the President’s “E” Award for Exports in 2013.

The “E” Awards Committee was very impressed with Holmes Corporation’s investment in developing an extensive international distribution network. The committee also noted the company’s significant percentage of export sales to total sales. In 2013, Holmes Corporation was presented with the President’s “E” Award for Exports The President’s “E” Award was created by Executive Order of the President to recognize to persons, firms or organizations which contribute significantly in the effort to increase U.S. exports. In 2013, only 37 organizations were awarded this honor.
