Jim Piechowski Elected Vice Chair; Kelly Quinn Re-elected for Additional Term
Holmes Corporation is proud to announce that two team members have been selected for prominent leadership positions on the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) International Associations Advisory Council (IAAC). Jim Piechowski, CAE, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, has been elected Vice Chair of the council, while Kelly Quinn, Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, has been re-elected to serve another term as a council member.
The International Associations Advisory Council supports association professionals whose roles include building relationships and collaborating across global borders, as well as advancing the growth of association management as a profession worldwide. The council serves in an advisory capacity to ASAE on international issues and provides member-led content and educational offerings for globally focused professionals. Beyond advising, the IAAC plays a critical role in identifying trends and challenges impacting associations globally, strengthening ASAE’s international network, and offering guidance on serving international members and partners.
“It’s a privilege to step into this role as Vice Chair of IAAC and continue supporting ASAE’s international priorities,” said Piechowski. “I’m excited to help foster deeper global engagement, elevate diverse perspectives, and contribute to strategies that strengthen association leadership around the world.”
As Vice Chair, Piechowski will support the council’s chair and help oversee subcommittees while preparing to assume the chair role in the following year. His appointment begins a three-year leadership rotation that includes serving as Vice Chair, Chair, and Immediate Past Chair.
Quinn’s re-election demonstrates her continued commitment to advancing international association management and her valuable contributions to the council’s mission of connecting and engaging ASAE’s global association community.
“We are incredibly proud of Jim and Kelly’s recognition by ASAE leadership,” said Josh Slayton, CEO at Holmes Corporation. “Their appointments reflect not only their individual expertise and dedication but also Holmes Corporation’s commitment to advancing the association management profession on a global scale. We look forward to the valuable insights and leadership they will bring to this important work.”
The council focuses on identifying current needs and future trends of associations working globally, offering feedback on ASAE international initiatives, and engaging the international community through various platforms. Members contribute to content creation, identify educational opportunities based on emerging global trends, and recommend topics and speakers for ASAE events and publications.
Both appointments began with the 2025-2026 term that commenced in July 2025.
